Four days ago, AT&T, Level3 and other large internet service providers experienced an unexpected downtime that cut both the Internet and mobile connections. Among those who were affected by this outage are people living in the Midwest and other areas of the United States. The cause was found to be a power failure at a switching center in Bloomfield, Michigan. Level3 fixed their problems by 2:45 p.m., while At&T’s service was restored by 9 p.m.
