Cloudflare deepens Oracle partnership to simplify multicloud networking for AI workloads

Cloudflare has expanded its collaboration with Oracle to bring its connectivity cloud platform directly into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The move gives enterprise users a single environment where they can manage applications, data, and AI workloads while maintaining consistent performance and security across multiple clouds.

It is also worth noting that this extension is a response to the growing trend of companies that are relying on multicloud setups to run their distributed systems. While this approach gives them more flexibility, it often complicates how teams manage governance, speed, and protection. A study by Forrester Research showed that more than seventy percent of enterprise leaders now operate in multicloud environments, but many still struggle to keep visibility and performance steady across providers.

By embedding Cloudflare’s technology natively into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, the two companies are addressing that challenge head-on. Organizations can now configure applications, enforce policies, and monitor performance through one control layer instead of several disconnected ones.

Tom Evans, Cloudflare’s Chief Partner Officer, said the collaboration meets the reality of how AI is reshaping operations. He explained that while artificial intelligence drives efficiency, it also expands the threat surface. As a result, businesses need flexible systems that can adapt quickly without compromising security or speed.

David Hicks, Oracle’s Group Vice President for ISV Ecosystem, said the partnership strengthens how enterprises protect critical workloads while improving resilience. He added that by connecting Cloudflare’s network with Oracle’s infrastructure, businesses can operate with greater reliability across regions and platforms.

Furthermore, the integration helps to enhance network performance by reducing delay for data intensive applications and AI inference tasks. The system is also equipped with security measures that prevent DDoS attacks, malicious bot traffic, and data breaches, and it supports compliance with regional regulations.

Essentially, this move indicates the view of the two companies on the future of cloud, which is less about standalone systems and more about working together. The partnership, as enterprises keep growing their digital footprints, is very much aligned with the need of the customers to be able to handle the complexity, secure their data, and provide performance that can be extended globally.
