Apple has launched the first data center at its Waukee, Iowa campus, supporting services like iCloud and Apple Music for North American users. Initially announced in 2017 with a 2020 completion date, the project faced multiple delays. The facility now spans 315,773 square feet, with plans for future expansion across the 2,000-acre site. At full capacity, the campus could house nearly 1.9 million square feet of data center space.
