The facility covers 215,000 square feet just outside Toronto, a key hub for data centers. Designed for high-density computing, it supports up to 130kW per rack by utilizing advanced liquid cooling solutions.
Loblaw Companies Limited previously utilized the site as an enterprise facility and obtained an Uptime Tier III certification, demonstrating its reliability and efficiency.
Toronto is establishing itself as a key location for data center expansion, drawing in major industry players like Digital Realty, Equinix, Microsoft, and EdgeConneX. As AI workloads create unprecedented demands for infrastructure, 55H’s phased expansion underscores the growing competition to deliver energy-efficient and high-performance data center solutions in the region.
