Clientexec or WHMCS - what do you prefer

Thankfully for users and providers, cPanel is yet seeing a clear decline in terms of usage. We've introduced cPanel on our most deployed location at this moment already - which is Singapore - and demand for this panel has been low at best, especially in comparison with our other panels. Pricing...

What type of billing system are you using / prefer ?

Went mostly nicely, despite some trouble with the defaults for multiple tools (Apache, Nginx, PHP) causing the migration to initially not occur, then occuring in a 1st half and stopping halfway after a given area was completed (e.g. tickets), then the 2nd half completing what remained. Cold...

Integrating AI into Dedicated Server Management

And that GPT not suggesting to install yum was already pretty great... It does help but can't be left unattended. Once, I had the brilliant idea of going a little too straight and doing "sysctl restart networking"... results: obviously no networking at all and having to restart the server from...

How many web hosting businesses/companies fail in the first year?

I meant that customers usually prefer going to the ticketing system rather than sending an e-mail. Anyway, we now have an external e-mail for ticketing/user downtime, actually. :)

Sustainable Server Hardware Choices for 2024

Neither would I :) but for corporate, owned facilities it is a great way of having electricity!

How are you preparing your website for SearchGPT?

I'd frankly believe a good, articuled website would be nice for SearchAI to consider a good offer. Some niche words may do the difference, other feedback can do it as well, etc.

Sustainable Server Hardware Choices for 2024

I'd believe the best of all would still be investing in e.g. solar panels to power the servers. A good solar panel is sometimes half a rack of electricity available in amps and it's much cleaner...

Integrating AI into Dedicated Server Management

In this regard we don't do AI at this moment, rather doing some gold maths, analyzing patterns, checking server status, optimizing some stuff, etc.

Redis Object Cache in Web Hosting

Either way, it's not like we don't have solutions as well, so not a big deal...

Redis Object Cache in Web Hosting

Interesting. And they do this well knowing the competition they have... Eventually they'll understand it may not be the best move.

Redis Object Cache in Web Hosting

I'm not aware of those changes, have they stopped being GPL or is it going paid?

Redis Object Cache in Web Hosting

I've attempted to implement Redis, but on the websites/servers I've tested it didn't see much of an improvement. Sincerely saw a much more relevant improvement with Memcached in cache hit and memory management, for example. Especially Nginx + Memcached, which we've tried, is very fast. Quite...

Edge Centres / QuadraNet owes us $13,000

Seen your issue at the other green forum originally. Glad you're getting some of the money back progressively, those are absolutely great news on a not-so-easy task!

How many web hosting businesses/companies fail in the first year?

We don't use it as well. The customers that actually do e-mail usage... they usually prefer to go directly to the website. On an e-mail app they have to remember the company's email, compose an e-mail... Never had a complaint regarding this function. That's exactly what we found as well...

How many web hosting businesses/companies fail in the first year?

CloudLinux I'd definetly agree. Litespeed however... had some customers valuing Litespeed and I do notice a difference between offering the standard (Apache+Nginx+some cache) and offering that system, in terms of volume. That's why OpenLiteSpeed should be in more panels - it's Litespeed with...
