Who have you gone with?

What Web hosting compaines have you gone through? I can't remember the first one I went through and after that I started getting my own servers didn't take long but has been a long process!!
 
The first ever host I had was Presage-Designs.com , this was provided free by Jeff as a promotion for his company a couple of years back. It's safe to say that it's the best hosting and support I've ever had from a webhost!

At the moment I'm with 99p.net and AvidNewMedia, not a bad word to say about each of them!
 
The first company I hosted with was simplywebhosting.net, they had decent service but the support side lacked. This was when reseller hosting was few and far between. I remember when they were offering decent packages and the next month everything jumped to 10 times that. I could not believe it nor afford it so I had to leave. :(
 
I can't remember who I first went through, they were decent but then started to charge per account you added instead of a true reseller account... I wish I remember who it was :) but can't
 
I used to know a host that worked like that. It's a good way of doing business, if the initial customers are serious enough about an orderly process. I guess it's a good way for the main vendor to keep a track of accounts.
 
Hello, before I became a host, I went with a local hosting company. I did not like the way they did buisness so I created my own :). Sometimes its just good to do things for yourself.

The thing with choosing your first webhost is that you need to be very careful. If the company knows that you don't have a clue they could rob you blind!

I agree. My first webhost was ntrance-media.com

Forget how I found them, but their service and support was great.
