After alot of researching I came across TJMDevelopment.co.uk. I checked out the prices and expected to find some hidden costs, however I found none! I pay £25.00 for one year with unlimited bandwidth and a free domain name! I know that finding hosting can be a hard task and was just wondering if anyone is having problems finding a host, as I highly recomend them.

You can look at what is on offer here:

Unlimited bandwidth does not exist. The company is lying to you in the face.

What is your web site URL that you host with them as well?

Best,

A company that offers "Unlimited" - anything, is ALWAYS lying to you!
As you have probably seen in your own box at home, all that space eventually comes to an end. Bandwidth is ALWAYS going to be limited eventually. Usually you'll find that the company says (in the fineprint) that bandwidth is "Unmonitored", but they do not mean the same...
Be weary of companies offerring services such as these, as they are usually trying to oversell products which will cost YOU (the client), time and money in the long-term!

To be honest im kind of tired of these hosts that lie such as that, when they lie somebody will go with their service and assume they are the best leaving the rest of us hosts in the dark... The honest truth is you will never have unlimited anything, just try getting unlimited storage on your pc.. or try getting on a dialup connection and try to consider that "unlimited" yeah i know the servers are not on dialup but its an example.. I really wish something would be done about these hosts that lie..

OMG! I Agree....Read that article about...Those

UNLIMITED Webspace and Bandwidth offers....

SCAM!

This is not accurate. "Anything" is stating a lot.

It is quite easy, and possible to offer "unlimited" services such as pop3, subdomain, addon domains, etc.

These things are entirely too random to put a specific number on, unless you hard limit them.

We, for example, offer unlimited pop3 emails. This simply means that there is no set limit, and you are only limited by however many you can fit within your account.

Some people may be able to fit 300 emails into a specific account, and another might be able to fit 1000 into the same spec account.

There is no set hard limit, therefore "unlimited"

In regards to bandwidth, and HD space, there are hard limited by your upstream, and therefore have strict limits, making it impossible. Afterall, as already stated, there is no such thing as an "unlimited" hard drive, etc.

However, one must be careful stating that "anything" unlimited is a lie.

I have just informed the owner and he says that you can use as much bandwidth as you want for no extra cost, and i must admit this has been the case in the past 2 years and I have had no problem with them in the past so i will continue to use them!

Mich, what's your web site URL that you host with them?
You missed my question.

From the web site:

"Kind Regards
Tim (TJMDevelopment)"

Is that the same Timmy?

There is a bombardment of traffic which is called getting slashdotted. Slashdot is one of THE popular websites on the internet and having your site listed in an article/post that's interesting to the readers can get your ISP out of it's clothes.

There isn't an unlimited anything offer which is a true fact. Even machines have limitations.
