Tip: Never offer unlimited

I would never go with an unlimited or unmetered company if I had to go to a hosting company. It looks bad, while someone who doesn't much about hosting would think it is a great deal. But someone who knows a lot about hosting will know that they are either overselling or something, and you can't offer unlimited bandwidth because no matter what the server can only have so much bandwidth on it.

Hi Hadley,

Many dedicated providers offer unmetered bandwith - but - I would say most will ask you to leave for various "reasons" stated in their TOS long before you ever reach the limits of your pipe...

I got the solution for you.

Get a Server on FDC Servers. Get like 500 or more Gmail Accounts (1Gb eMail Accounts) and store the sites on there :D

Unlimited

nah, it sucks

I am 100% against 'unlimited' hosts, because simply, it does not exist.. also, unmetered hosts are often very slow because they try and push so much from their box..

Unlimited and Unmetered in my eyes are the same damn thing.

They are all scams to try get you to buy with the idea of having un imaginable amounts of bandwidth. Truth be told... your getting scammed with some major overselling.

Just once would I like to sign up for a plan like this and put 100MB file on the server and setup my ftp client to download it over and over and over and over... drain close to 3-4TB of bandwidth in one month and pay my $75 server fee. Hehe.
