I have this terrible download problem. No matter what or how large file is, it just stops at a random time. I cant download anything at

all. I dunno if its my computer or what, but it does it on both my desktop and laptop, both which run Vista, and i have IE on the

desktop and Firefox on the laptop. Im just so lost, i cant do anything.
 
Is it possible that your internet service provider has introduced some kind of a download cap on files?
What bothers me in your problem, however, is the fact that a file size is irrelevant, so it can also be some settings problems in Vista? (Sorry, just doing some wild guesses).
 
This sounds like the connection is being interrupted somewhere down the line. It could be a problem with your modem / router / switch. Or it could be an issue with your ISP. I recommend you give them a call and explain your issues to them. They usually do a line test to make sure everything is ok.

Sometimes they don't work though. A lot of webhosts don't allow people to get the rest of the file should the connection be terminated. But it's worth a try i guess...
