Hi folks,
The whole data storage industry is moving to Software Defined Storage (SDS) for a number of reasons. One of them is that it is not vendor lock-in solution, which means that providers can built custom Storage Area Networks, but still based on strong industry standards.
My question to consumers is "Do you guys pay attention to the technology used by the providers when you by Shared (Virtual) Hosting services?"
To fellow web hosts: "Have you deployed or considered to deploy SDS or you still prefer to host data the traditional way - on stand-alone servers or on specific SANs"?
