Hi,

I'm kinda new here, I have a few sites hosted with a small (or is it big?) company called web-host-plus.com. They're quite good, and cheap at that, at least compared to others.
Now, I have a question, cause I've been reading other posts saying that cheap companies are bad... Is it? I mean, I've been with them over one year now and my sites are working just fine. They're not just ordinary sites, ASP.NET, SQL Server, all the stuff.

So, what do you think about these guys - web-host-plus.com, should I continue with them, I need to add more sites now?

The reason that cheap companies may be bad is that they oversell their resources. This means that they are selling more than they can provide and if each account uses what it was given, you may find yourself with a suspended (or terminated) account or with a website that doesn't work.

So, what do you think about these guys - web-host-plus.com, should I continue with them, I need to add more sites now?

I have not had any experience with web-host-plus.com.
But, there are some things to consider if you would like to stay with them:
- If you contacted support, what was the response time?
- Did you ever experience long periods of website downtime?

Well, in all sincerity, initially I was 99% convinced that he was talking about that webhostplus too. :D
 
Nikky, if you found a host that serves your needs the way you expect of it, do not change it. I'm glad you actually found such a company.

If they have been good to you, stick with them. No reason to switch just because others tell you to switch. I don't see any reason why you should switch to another hosting comany since you've been with them for over a year now and never had any troubles, downtime or support issues.

Everyone else has already said it, but if it aint broke don't fix it. The reason so many people say "cheap is bad" is because the number of bad cheap web hosts far outnumbers the good cheap web hosts.

There are a few inexpensive hosts that have great service, support, uptime etc. If you have found one DONT take the chance of going somewhere else that might end up being worse.
 
if your service you currently have satisifies you and if you havent had any problems with them so far then you should stay with them. Dont worry about if they are cheap or not. The issue of cheap hosting companies is whether or not they provide good service. You said youve been with webhostplus for over a year now...i think thats enough time to know if they provide you with good service and whether they are worth remaining your provider.
