R1soft clean disk safes

I have a server with R1soft and the disks are almost full.
I deleted a big part of recovery points and archives, but the storage space remained the same.
Is any solution to clean disk safes for make space ?

Not really. My guess is that you have too many restore points, or you just have so much data that the hard drive you're storing to isn't big enough.

If you wipe out certain files to make space, you've rendered the restore point useless.

You may want to check to see if you're logging every process. If you don't need a log file, you can stop that logging and that would free up space.

I have a total of 1,7 TB on this server and is used 1,5 TB. Do you think that if I stop logging, it will free up enough space ? If yes, may you tell me where is that setting ? :) Thanks in advance

No idea if it will be enough, it will depend on what size the log files are.

It's been a few years since I've managed the r1soft backup systems as I'm no longer in the Web Hosting world, however here's the section of the manual you want - http://wiki.r1soft.com/display/ServerBackup/Change+Backup+Agent+configuration+from+Backup+Manager

Essentially, you can "disable debug" and see what that does for you. Alternatively, you can set it so that it doesn't keep 10 copies and instead keep 2 or 1.

When I used to use the r1soft system, everything was configured via files, but it looks like they now have a full inclusive manager.

Hello,

If you still have recovery points you have to use the "merge recovery points" function to get get back free space.
