Can I Verify my paypa account with a prepaid credit card from like a super market or a wallgreens store?
 
Is it a visa or master card? I know that I have seen around, people are getting visa gift cards from their banks and using them. Also to verify your bank account you can setup a account at www.accountnow.com and I believe you can also use their credit cards to.

Sign up their and it tells you exactly how to do it.
 
That site now like is it like I have to put my social and stuff?
I am only 16.... witch way would be better that way or threw that site?
 
Either way paypal makes you have to enter a banking account to be verified. So I would go setup a savings account since I believe your too young to open a checking account. A lot of banks offer a student account with little money deposit. Then while your there pick up a Visa Gift card and then you should be fine!
 
When I first started paypal, I was like 14 or 15 and used a savings account I had since I was 5. Then on my 18th bday I got a debit card and verified it.
 
I never realized how strict some places are. I had a savings before I was 18 and it switched over to savings/check when I turned 18. I really never thought much about this for the younger crowd.
 
I dont think you will be able to verify it with a prepaid card, It may require you to have a real credit card.
 
You can get verified with a prepaid card. Either way though you've got to be verified if you're doing business online, and at 16 you've got to have your parents support.

making a "hosting company" with even a simple reseller

kidds today are way more advanced lol when i was 15 all i cared about is girls lol

Not sure what any of this has to do with getting verified with Paypal, but to answer the question, yes, you can get verified with a prepaid card.
 
Yeah,paypal needs a bank account to be verified for your money transfer and transactions.I used a savings account and other one is mastercard.
 
If you can verify that way then-well its not very secure is it? I mean it opens up all sorts of avenues for money laundering and so on, by allowing fake accounts.

What about withdrawing money when you have verified just with a prepaid card?
 
I'd be interested to hear the final verdict of verifying with a pre-paid card. Seems to me that allowing that defeats the purpose of verification in the first place!
 
The simple answer is no you are not allowed to :/ You must verify it with a REAL full credit card and also have it conirmed with your bank account or as soon as you reach the paypal limit it won't let you do anything.
