Along with the new year, come new ideas and improvements. We are very excited to announce the successful integration of a new helpdesk system at HostingDiscussion.com.
With increased activity, we have been reviewing and shopping for a great new system that can: A) simplify communication between forum users and members of staff and, B) improve the management of ALL issues, requests and communications. Our choice has fallen on the flexible IntelloDesk (www.intellodesk.com) software - a perfect choice for HD. It has advanced features and amazing capabilities not found in any other software product to help serve our community with advantage. Mark Klink, the lead developer of the software, is also a Community Advisor at HD. Mark is directly responsible for successful integration of the software.
After past couple of weeks of successful testing by our staff, the application is ready for full public release.
How will it affect me?
As members of HostingDiscussion.com, you will notice an improvement in communication. For example, while the process of reporting a post is not any different, in most instances, you will receive a "ticket" with staff response certifying the receipt of your report.
You are now also able to contact the Moderators/Advisors in the most efficient way - through creating a new ticket in the helpdesk and directing it to the right audience. When you create a ticket, ALL assigned staff members will have access to your ticket and will be able to assist you in shortest amount of time. So whether you are looking to ask a general question, request changes to your account, or ask a question - you can do so without headache.
With time you will also be able to enjoy the extensive Knowledge Base by searching for answers to previously asked questions - fast and easy.
Registration with HD Helpdesk is NOT required, but provides some extra advantages to users, for example, having access to their history of submitted tickets.
How to find it?
