The migration, completed just over a week ago, is designed to bring localnode customers significant improvements in speed, reliability and scalability.

The Phoenix NAP facility also delivers through a range of unique design features, such as a 36-inch raised datacenter floor designed to keep servers cool and ensure complete redundancy. Phoenix NAP is a PCI DSS validated services provider and has SAS 70 Type 1 certification, affording maximum protection for clients with a need for accredited security. The site is secured by 10-16 points of security between the front door and servers or networking equipment. Phoenix NAP is constantly monitored by guards in a bullet-proof monitoring room and Cisco-certified technical support are on-duty 24/7, 365 days a year.
localnode completed the migration to Phoenix in early December, achieving almost 100% uptime during the transfer. Clients are expected to experience improvements in performance and reliability at the new location.
