Lagged emails?

I am sure there is a lag sometimes and this might happen with others, but we use CE. I have noticed a random issues in the past week, well two really.

The first, most times when new orders come in, I get:
- order email
- billing email (saying its due)
- billing email paid/rejected (depending on the payment method.

For some reason my order of emails is flip flopped, today I got something saying a client (new client) was due, then I got the order, then I got the paid conf.

WTH? :uhh:
 
Nice! :) I know that in WHMCS we get the order confirmation and the customer gets a welcome email all before they even pay for the invoice. The welcome is a GENERIC welcome, not their actual account information. I wish they'd change that, but we'll see (there's a few discussions on it currently).

As for why your email is flipflopped - are the TIMES actually flipped to, or just the receiving order? If it's times too, then there's something wrong within the program. May want to drop a note to CE on that.
 
I haven't worked with either of these programs before. Are they clients that you use for billing purposes? I'm looking to find one that I like that is a bit automated and it sounds as if both of the ones that you use are.
