Does IP Spoofing Effects the Hosting Business?

Well what is your intent? IP address spoofing can have legitimate purposes though in most cases it is for malicious intent.

What are you trying to do/achieve? Or from what angle are you asking from?

Most of the clients ask for IP spoofing free services. Just wanted to know how it effects the Hosting providers.

Well, it can be used for attacks such as DDoS so quite negatively (but there are also genuine reasons, just these are less common).

I can't think of any reason for spoofing IP addresses that would need to be offered by a shared host.
You can only spoof outgoing IP traffic anyway, so proper client/server communication couldn't take place.

IP spoofing is often used in DDoS attacks, so a single source can evade IP blocking at firewalls, so in that way it does cause problems for hosts.

It's not good to offer IP Spoofing for shared hosting plans due to it's vulnerability.

Hate to say it, but if your clients are asking for the ability to spoof IPs you have the wrong kind of clients: spammers, phishers, DoSers, etc.

We have a possibility to provide spoofing for our long term and trusted clients, if they need it for legitimate purposes. All others should prove their intents are not malicious. Well...everybody chooses themselves.
