(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Hostirian (www.hostirian.com) announced on Tuesday it has acquired web hosting provider NPSIS (www.npsis.com), which strengthens its suite of web hosting products and services. The details of the agreement were not disclosed.

NPSIS provides a range of web hosting solutions including domain name registration, hosting and design services.

The company also offers an online knowledge base, flash tutorials, a Smart Domain Search & Suggest Tool, website builders, and marketing tools.

Hostirian recently acquired web hosting provider ATCI Hosting, provides a range of services including semi-dedicated, dedicated and virtual servers.

"NPSIS is a natural fit for Hostirian," says Ken Cox, Hostirian's VP of operations. "NPSIS offers a unique niche of hosting products and services that complement our 'business class' shared, VPS, dedicated and colocation services, providing real value to business professionals worldwide. Success in business depends on business partnerships and acquisitions that benefit both parties. NPSIS clients will profit from Hostirian's data center infrastructure, monitoring, environmental controls, and service level agreements. One of our strengths is our hands-on approach to customer support, pre and post sales - and our ability to provide a stable secure platform for our clients."

As a wholly owned business unit of River City Internet Group (www.rcig.net), Hostirian provides business class premium hosting, complex hosting, managed services and colocation services through its multiple carrier class facilities.

The company's customers include Web 2.0 search engine Ice Rocket, Interstate Bakeries, IntraISP, and FanBall.

I see Hostirian continues its round of acquisitions. Glad to hear the company is doing well.

Growing by acquisition is one of the most common strategies in business. Hostirian has been very active in that regard, as far as I read on your website.

Acquiring existing providers has it's unique set of challenges, but it's worked out well. We're always on the hunt for quality acquisitions.
