Help please,,,
I am a new e commerce business, bricks and mortar a lot longer, so I have lots of stock to cram in there. Taking about 30-40 pages eventually. I need a good shop cart, and I want fast hosting... My site is boring, slow and I am getting frustrated as even the shopping programme is a nightmare, really slow aswell.

I so want to learn though, I am jsut starting a web design course and one of my tasks is to find different hosting companies and write bout them. There are so many, just thought I would get some help with my home work and stop the steam from coming out of my ears.

CB, you can use OScommerce.com shopping cart which is free and proved itself to be quite stable.

As for your homework with web hosts, I don't really understand what you mean or need to do exactly. Do not expect someone else doing your homework (if that is for school) here though.

Thanks for the reply, and help. I just wanted a little help getting pointed in the right direction, there is a lot to plough through out there. Perhaps I should nt have mentioned that it is a course work question as well. I thought people came on here to help each other. Have a great bank holiday weekend,,

First you need to get familiar with technical jargons used in web hosting. Than make a list what you think you need. And finally look for know how or what options you can live with. I mean only good here, because Ecommerce is still a difficult issue even for established developers. I personally call ecommerce 'a blaming game'

Oscommerece shopping cart is a great cart, but it requires some PHP knowledge. But you should definitly give a try and learn how to work it.
