Hard drives: key differences?

Hi all,

What are the comparative strengths and weaknesses of SCSI and IDE hard drives? In your experience, which is best for what kinds of server environment? About all that I know is that IDE drives seem to be less expensive for more storage, judging on the pricings I've seen. There has to be more to it, though.

Comments? Experiences? Really good articles (and links to them)?

I've only ever used IDE harddrives and have never had a problem, SCSI harddrives are just faster as far as I know.. spin at faster RPMs.

I have a IDE, seems fine for me.

SCSI harddrives are ment to work faster I think.

Well i can suggest you to use ide hard disc coz i am using it from 3 years and never had any kinda problem like this...
