dedicated linux server - what host is best?

I need a good and decent host that can give me a dedicated linux server on a 10 MB line that has good connection to europe. About 1000 GB traffic each month.

my budget is about ?200 a month

any suggestions?

Kinda interesting posts. Does the board have a rule of "No Adverts or etc on normal boards or...?"

Just wanted to know... I'm kinda noob ya know?

If there is a response or two ... fine. However, if the whole thread is swamped with...HEY LOOK AT ME...I can offer it too...with about twenty businesses trying to grab the thread starters attention...well...that sort of puts me off a board.

Just my opinion.

In a similar vein one sees some ridiculous posts in boards when the thread starter asks..."Which is the best web hosting company??"....and you then see loads of replies (hey...look at my signature sort of thing)...but asking the thread starter to go to the host quote or something similar !!
 
I've been really happy at EV1. I'm not sure how great the connections to Europe are but you can look at their netowrk info on their website for more information.

I've been using them for several years and have been very pleased with the level of service and support (for an unmanaged server).
 
We have used EV1 for 5 years and they have been great. Also they have allot of new security features like TippingPoint anf FireSlayer to help protect you from the bad guys :)
