I need a little addvice. Right now im not making alot of money to be buying a billing system. Now what should i do?

I was thinking of making my own custom HTML Form for ordering and support tickets like when a client fills it out it will auto mail the information to my email with his email so we can contact each other but then i have to make the invoices every month on my own and do all the work that the billing system is suppose to do or should i just but a billing system? Witch should I do. I do have a lot of time on my hands.

Client Exec is a great start. And for a few dollars more, you can get WHMCS (which is simliar). You can automate much of what you're trying to do. Time is money! The more time you have to spend going through stuff, the less time you have for marketing or time with family etc. Automate yourself toward freedom (you'll never get there, but it's nice to try) :)

ClientExec is definitely a smart way to start considering the price tag but I personally prefer WHMCS if/when spending more on billing software is viable for you.

I really do like WHMCS but I believe that clientexec is the cheaper option of the two if you are looking for something to get started with. If you ever choose to migrate over to WHMCS from clientexec I believe there is an import script put out by the WHMCS guys that will make that easier for you.

I would recommend AWBS. It isn't free, sorry. But it is packed full of very useful features and would save you so much time.

I think people these days expect automation, I think if you purchase a license and work very hard it will cover it's costs quite quickly.

AWBS also allow you to lease a license which is much cheaper than buying a copy. Then when you have enough clients you could move to an owned license?

My system uses a regular form (HTML) and i have to send to my cell phone and to my email we setup account usually within 30 minutes of submitting the form also i use jbilling for recurring payments. I'm very small and have very few customers but we strive to do better and hope in the future to have WHCMS so it will all be automated.
