Control Panel

Yo guys, need some help. I am going to buy a server so I can resell virtual private servers and I need help finding a control panel I can use as a defulat panel for my VPS. I have cPanel and Direct Admin but those must be paid for. No one pays, then the VPS has no control panel and is up to the client to add on to it.


What I am asking is there a control panel I can use that is free and I can use for my clients. Something to add to my VPS for people who are low on money and can not afford cPanel or DA.


Any advice is very much appreaciated.

I've only tried RavenCore and it's a pretty good choice for a control panel.

http://www.isp-control.net/ is also a good alternative.

What about HyperVM? Anyone use that?

LXAdmin(40 domains) is free. Run HyperVM and it's even got an automated install built in

It is very good IMO. Installation is cake, and from there you just need a bit of configuring and you're in business

That's good to know. I thought it was pretty simple to do. Can't wait to use it now once I grow more as a company.

For free panel in VPS HyperVM + LX admin is the best choice and used by many vps companies, some also offers webmin to their clients.

Yes if you know to operate it or have strong understanding about Linux or it will be difficult to operate it

I would second this. I have not used it live in terms of online but I have had aplay with it offline on a test server and I found it to be a very good application to use, if not a little complicated in some areas.

But this is a good one to use.

I love Webmin even though you have to use ssh a lot to fix some issues or install packages but is easy and free

if you get openvz/xen then you get lxadmin that would be a good control panel. Plus lxadmin is very cheap to buy, $50 onetime is very reasonable.

Veportal.com is a good VPS control panel. I would stay away from HyperVM for now.
