Cloudflare service ?

Given the number of accounts using CloudFlare, I'd say most reviews are favorable. What is your primary concern?

I have a few dozen sites operating through CloudFlare without any issues. SSL Configuration can be a little challenge, but overall, no real complaints.

I also use them for DNS on some sites - no CDN enabled, just the DNS as it will also help stop known attacks etc.

No issues with the CloudFlare so far, you can use it for DNS hosting and if your website is under attack then you can enable under attack mode.

It works very good for WordPress based websites as it blocks a number of security threats and stops fake requests to the host.

I want to use it for SSL, DDOS protection and CDN

Keep in mind depending on your requirements (dedicated SSL, strengthen DDoS mitigation for certain attacks, and/or type(s) of CDN servicing) you may need to pay for a premium plan of some sort.

Yes, You can use Cloudflare services, very useful and secured. you can add your website for Free later you can upgrade as per your requirements.

Last I heard they handle something like 10% of the internet's traffic.

Personally I've been using them on my own personal site for quite some time without issue. We've also been using it on our business site for a long time as well.

Their support is responsive.

Enabling/Disabling it is pretty quick and once you're pointed at their DNS is darn near instant :).

If you can drop a few extra dollars per month ($20/month I think it is now) - enabling the RailGun for extra speed (if your server supports it) is pretty awesome.

We've been able to take websites normally at 12 seconds rendering time down to below 6 just by enabling cloudflare and railgun. Their paid service also allows for increased image optimization.

If you're hosted with a CloudFlare Optimized Partner you can use their RailGun for free, even on the free plan.

I have a couple of websites managed by Cloudfare and no issue so far. Even Cloudfare helped me to improve website performance. You may use for CDN, DDOS protection and DNS service

We have customers using many web sites in cloud flare and they have never had any issues. Plus its free if you can live with some of the limitations

Oooo... that's good to know! I know we're with a partner too, so wonder if I can enable with a few of my other sites.

Off to do testing ;) :crash:
