Not sure if you guys heard of Blesta.com, but its a nice software just like WHMCS / Clientexec.

Try out the demo : http://demo.blesta.com

Blesta is a multi-purpose web-based billing solution. With Blesta you can easily manage clients, invoices, services, payments, and more!

Automated Payment Processing authorizes credit cards and credits invoices.

Automated Suspension system optionally suspends and unsuspends services automatically.

Any Month Billing lets you create packages for services that renew every 1 to 999 months, or never at all.

Accept Manual Payment from clients who mail in payment. Entering a stack of checks is streamlined in Blesta.

Configurable Late & Suspend Notices gives you full control over late notices. Set when they go out, if they go out, and what they say.

•••••••• SUPPORT FEATURES ••••••••
________________________________________
Ticket System allows clients to get support in a central place. Updated and new ticket notices can even be sent to your tech's phone or mobile device if your cell carrier offers an email to SMS gateway as most do. You can optionally set stale tickets to be closed automatically.

Multiple Support Departments allow you to fast track trouble tickets.

Email Pipinggives clients the option of opening or replying to tickets without ever having to log in.

Mass Mailer makes it possible to send custom personalized email to all, or only a subset, of your client base.

Bleasta looked solid, the only issue is, they are more expensive then WHMCS with less features. We were reviewing the platform the other day and it looks sleek. Limited though.

Yea, the developers are working on the program. They are very nice, and offers good support. Its your chance to post on Blesta forums to request anything you would like to see in the program.

You can also find certified resellers that offers Blesta at $13.50-$14.00 a month.

I'm sure Blesta developers and support is great; however, that does not change the fact they are almost 10% more than an established billing system with fewer features. Plus they are a new company and there is soemthing to be said about new companies and this industry.

Just want to clarify - We've been in the industry for almost 9 years, though Blesta has only been available for a couple of years it has come a long way since it was introduced and is in active development.

10% isn't much of a difference if you ask me, but as hostlatte has mentioned, there are resellers with lower price points.

Looks like to me that pphillips and hostlatte have some things inc ommon. They are both new, one is promoting the product, and the other is defending the product when someone comments on it. It is very unusual that we see someone just randomly copy and paste info from a billing software sites in discussion and then have another member who until today never be on the forums sign up to defend.

I don't see any foul play here.

A new active member who uses WHMCS on his website, has come across an exciting new billing/support application Blesta that he wanted to draw attention to and ask for community feedback.

A Blesta representative has been on HostingDiscussion forums since March 2008. Anyone who cares for his own product would come to defend it or explain things that might be left misunderstood by the public.

Thanks Artashes. I actually found out about this thread from a mention on Twitter. I'm definitely not playing tag team with the OP.

http://twitter.com/WebHostingSpot is where the link originated

+1

I do not work for Blesta. I reviewed and liked Blesta, hence want to pass on this valuable information to the public.

Prices appear the same as WHMCS now...

EDIT: Didn't notice this was an old thread. It was still on the first page!

Sorry, compare that has no content in itself. There are a lot off pirates how giving the impression of being genuine developers but can't never beat them. :smash:
The look and feeling is one thing; security another and for such a price you can better you stay away from this reproduction.

I still prefer WHMCS, I didn't give a try to Blesta yet.
We used ClientExec ang get several troubles with it.
The we moved ahead with WHMCS for billing eSupport for Support.

We are more than glad with this combination.

Blesta is not a reproduction or whmcs clone of any kind. We have our own in house developers, who have computer science degrees which is more than most of our competitors can say. We take security very seriously and do a lot behind the scenes to ensure our software is secure.

If you want to do a comparative product analysis I think you'll agree, Blesta is not a reproduction of anything. It's a product of hard work, from highly competent developers.

BLESTA! IS WICKED!!!!!!!!!!! I love it to be honest with you. Were currently testing it. As we wish to faze out WHMCS to use it. As pphilips stated above it is no clone, If not completley differrent to WHMCS but in the good way. Not bad. would reccomend it to anyone. :)

- Many Thanks,
