Instead of relying on a single provider, the company is spreading its bets. Through the Stargate joint venture\u2014where <a href=\"https:\/\/hostingdiscussion.com\/news\/oracle-brings-databases-to-google-cloud-in-japan-expands-multi-cloud-reach\/\">Oracle<\/a> is also an investor\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">OpenAI<\/a> plans to lease around 4.5 gigawatts of data center capacity across multiple U.S.<\/span><span id=\"input-sentence~1\"> sites. This marks a shift toward a more distributed, resilient infrastructure model as OpenAI scales up for next-generation AI workloads.<\/p>\n<p>Oracle is expected to lead the development of several hyperscale sites, including the possible doubling of its existing Abilene, Texas campus from 1.2GW to 2GW.<\/span><span id=\"input-sentence~2\"> Other states under evaluation include Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Georgia, as Oracle and OpenAI work with local partners to bring projects online faster.
