Submer, a global leader in liquid cooling systems for data centers, secured $55.5 million in new funding led by M&G’s Catalyst initiative. The investment will drive Submer’s expansion into U.S. and Asia-Pacific markets, where it aims to help data centers meet growing energy and environmental demands.

As AI and high-performance computing (HPC) continue to grow, traditional air cooling struggles to keep up. Submer’s immersion cooling technology provides a more efficient and sustainable solution, drastically reducing power consumption.

Unlike conventional methods, Submer’s waterless cooling approach cuts energy and resource use while maintaining high performance. This makes it ideal for data centers focused on AI, blockchain, and hyperscale applications.

Founder and CFO Pol Valls emphasized Submer’s commitment to positive environmental impact. “We’re proud to lead the industry in energy-efficient, sustainable data center solutions,” he said.

The funding will support Submer’s global expansion and help data centers meet strict environmental regulations. Backed by firms like Planet First Partners and Norrsken VC, Submer’s technology addresses the urgent need for greener data center operations.

As demand for AI and digital infrastructure grows, Submer is positioned to lead the shift toward sustainable, resource-efficient data center solutions.
