BlackLine<\/a> plans to offer its financial operations platform on PREMI3NS<\/a>, the French cloud run by S3NS, and the setup involves three separate companies. BlackLine supplies the software. S3NS, an alliance between Thales and Google Cloud, supplies the infrastructure. Thales\u2019s digital services division builds and operates the local deployment, and Thales itself signs up as the first customer.<\/p>\n

That last point gives the plan a concrete starting case. The offering begins with an implementation already lined up, not a hope for outside demand. Still, one customer who doubles as a partner does not prove wider adoption, and the announcement describes work still to come.<\/p>\n

For finance teams under strict data control rules, a French host<\/a> helps. Location answers only one question, though. Buyers should also ask who holds administrative access, how recovery works and which other systems the platform talks to, since financial tools constantly exchange data with the rest of a business.<\/p>\n

Qualification needs careful reading too. The status of an infrastructure service does not stretch over every application running on it, so customers should confirm the scope, configuration and contract terms for this exact offering.<\/p>\n
