AVP led the financing, with existing investors Dawn Capital, MMC Ventures, and Tera Ventures coming back in. The company plans to build a global traffic management ecosystem around its network of hosting providers, giving them more influence over how internet traffic moves, stays secure, and generates revenue.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The capital will fuel expansion into 12 strategic regions across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. Blackwall also plans to widen its platform with new traffic security tools, so hosting, cloud, and managed service providers can handle more of their customers\u2019 needs through a single infrastructure layer.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The platform already covers bot mitigation, DDoS protection, web application firewall, load balancing, server-side encryption, and management of agentic AI traffic. It runs inside the hosting provider\u2019s own infrastructure, separating real visitors and legitimate automated traffic from malicious bots and abuse, and filters billions of requests every day.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Co-founder and chief executive Nikita Rozenberg said the web is growing more automated and distributed while the infrastructure behind it stays fragmented. His goal is a traffic management ecosystem that brings those pieces together, and he said the funding lets Blackwall expand globally and deepen the platform.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The company argues that its position inside the provider\u2019s infrastructure sets it apart. Hosting is a $200 billion market, and it stays fragmented because infrastructure must sit close to the businesses it serves. Unlike hyperscale and content delivery platforms, which compete with providers for the same customers, <a href=\"https:\/\/hostingdiscussion.com\/news\/blackwall-rebrands-expands-a-bold-move-in-cybersecurity-innovation\/\">Blackwall<\/a> works within the provider and reinforces its relationship with the businesses it hosts.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The economics work in two ways, according to the company. First, blocking unwanted traffic before it reaches servers cuts infrastructure and operating costs and speeds up customer sites. Second, providers can package, bundle and tier Blackwall\u2019s modular security features as their own products, earning new revenue without building the technology.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Investors zeroed in on the rise of <a href=\"https:\/\/hostingdiscussion.com\/news\/one-click-ai-agents-push-into-mainstream-hosting\/\">AI agents<\/a>. Warda Shaheen of AVP said that as more traffic flows from agents, a company sitting in front of millions of websites becomes impossible to do without. Dawn Capital\u2019s Norman Fiore put it more starkly, warning that a wave of agents will overwhelm infrastructure that builders designed for human visitors.
