IPM<\/a>, the cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure company trading as IPM on Nasdaq, just launched a virtual assistant called IPM GO<\/a>, and the pitch is aimed squarely at customers who don’t have a development team sitting around to build one themselves.<\/p>\n

The assistant runs inside IPM’s private cloud, built so a customer can add it to their website without writing code or hiring anyone to configure it. That matters most for the small and mid-sized businesses that make up a chunk of IPM’s existing web hosting base, companies that want the kind of AI-driven customer engagement bigger competitors already have, without the budget or technical staff to build it from scratch.<\/p>\n

Jared Mills, IPM’s president, said the launch reflects the company’s push toward accessible, scalable private cloud AI<\/a>, and that he expects the assistant to improve customer engagement while shortening how long it takes clients to get real value from their website. The company built the product as part of an earlier strategic collaboration with MASORI Therapeutics, though it didn’t detail exactly how that partnership shaped this particular tool.<\/p>\n

A dashboard lets businesses build, test and launch the assistant directly on their site, and a separate customer-facing dashboard tracks engagement, captures leads and logs support requests in real time. Engineers designed it to work with hosting systems and web tools customers already use, rather than asking anyone to switch platforms first, which keeps the setup closer to a plug-in than a migration.<\/p>\n

Rollout is happening in phases, starting with IPM’s existing customer base before opening more broadly, a pace meant to avoid disrupting hosting services people already depend on. The company is also positioning the tool for businesses that don’t currently use its hosting services at all, which signals it sees IPM GO as a door into new customer relationships, not just an upgrade for people already paying for hosting.<\/p>\n

Whether that strategy works depends on something IPM can’t fully control: whether small businesses trust an AI assistant enough to hand it real customer conversations.
