The company launched its new AI Store Agent<\/a> inside SiteGround eCommerce, letting merchants pull up sales data, answer store questions, and handle certain management tasks through plain-language chat instead of digging through menus and reports.<\/p>\n

The tool covers two different jobs. On the information side, store owners can ask about metrics like average order value or which product categories are actually selling, and get answers back immediately instead of manually cross-referencing dashboard sections. It can also help create new brands and products through simple natural-language requests, which lowers the bar for stores that don’t have someone dedicated to backend management.<\/p>\n

The more consequential piece is Power Mode, a setting that lets the AI agent actually make changes to a store rather than just report on it. With Power Mode turned on, merchants can create and manage products, coupons, customer accounts, and brands directly through the chat interface. SiteGround<\/a> built it to stay off by default, so store owners decide for themselves when to hand over that level of control rather than having it enabled automatically.<\/p>\n

Reneta Tsankova, SiteGround’s COO, framed the launch around a familiar problem for small online retailers: the constant stream of minor administrative tasks that eat into time better spent on customers and growth. She said the goal was making those day-to-day interactions with store data and operations easier to manage, so business owners spend less time hunting for information and more time running their business.<\/p>\n
