The company launched JetHost AI Connector<\/a> this week, a secure integration built on the Model Context Protocol that lets customers link their hosting accounts directly to AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and Lovable. Instead of logging into separate systems for every task, users can simply ask questions or issue requests in plain language: which domains need renewing, deploy a GitHub project, spin up a new business email account, check server resource usage, or review recent support tickets.<\/p>\n

MCP is the standard doing the heavy lifting here. Rather than JetHost building a custom integration for every AI platform individually, MCP gives compatible assistants a structured, secure way to interact with JetHost’s systems through one unified framework. That approach is becoming more common as businesses expect AI tools to do more than just answer questions, they want them actually connected to the software running day-to-day operations.<\/p>\n

Security was clearly a design priority, and reasonably so, given how much control an AI assistant could theoretically have over hosting infrastructure. JetHost<\/a> built the connector with OAuth 2.1 authentication, PKCE verification, two-factor authentication support, and read-only access by default.<\/p>\n

Anything that would actually change account settings requires explicit approval first, and customers can revoke permissions instantly if something feels off. That layered approach matters for the kind of enterprise and agency customers JetHost is targeting, since giving an AI assistant broad, unchecked access to production infrastructure would be a hard sell for most IT teams.<\/p>\n

The connector is aimed at a fairly wide range of users: developers looking to streamline routine deployment tasks, agencies juggling multiple client hosting environments, and business owners who’d rather ask a question than dig through a technical dashboard to find an answer.<\/p>\n

CEO Metodi Drenovski framed the launch as part of a bigger shift in how businesses will eventually interact with hosting infrastructure altogether, treating conversational AI less as a novelty feature and more as a genuine operational layer sitting on top of existing tools.
