The company rolled out two new tools, <a href=\"https:\/\/aws.amazon.com\/aws-startups\/advisor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">AWS Startup Advisor<\/a> and an AI-assisted migration platform, both aimed at founders who&#8217;d rather build their product than spend months untangling cloud architecture on their own.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Startup Advisor works like a built-in technical consultant for AWS&#8217;s cloud platform. It looks at a company&#8217;s existing tech stack, how far along the startup is, and how it&#8217;s currently using cloud resources, then offers recommendations on infrastructure, security, and spending. According to AWS, the tool pulls from patterns drawn across more than 350,000 startups already running on its cloud, plus input from its own solutions architects. It&#8217;s also available directly inside coding tools founders already use, including Visual Studio Code, Cursor, and Claude Code.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">The bigger move, though, is the migration platform, and <a href=\"https:\/\/hostingdiscussion.com\/news\/oracles-cloud-now-proves-its-ai-speed-claims-on-nvidias-biggest-racks\/\">Oracle<\/a> clearly designed it with a specific cloud rival in mind. It analyzes a company&#8217;s existing cloud setup and generates a customized migration plan, complete with architecture diagrams, cost estimates, and ready-to-use Terraform templates.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Right now, that mainly means helping companies move off Google Cloud: the platform explicitly supports Kubernetes environments, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, and Google Cloud Storage. It also helps companies shift <a href=\"https:\/\/hostingdiscussion.com\/news\/ai-workloads-push-cloud-computing-costs-to-10-of-revenue-for-midsize-tech-firms\/\">AI workloads<\/a> currently running on Anthropic, Gemini, or OpenAI over to Amazon&#8217;s own Bedrock service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Jason Bennett, who leads AWS&#8217;s startup and venture arm, framed the tools around a familiar founder complaint. &#8220;We kept hearing from founders that they knew they needed to be on AWS, but moving their infrastructure or AI stack felt like a project they couldn&#8217;t afford to take on,&#8221; he said. &#8220;That changes today.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Generating a migration plan costs nothing, and founders only pay for whatever cloud resources they actually deploy after the move.
